Hey guys, I'm seeking to hire one, possibly two graphic/ web designers in LOS. I want to get a few applicants collected, then fly in for interviews in early March.
Anyone know where these folks go to look for jobs?
Anyone know what the top design schools are in Bangkok?
Anyone on the Forum work in the design/advertising industry?
Recommendations?
note: I am looking for mid to top level people to work on corporate accounts. (or talented, trainable students).

I ended up not using: http://www.jobsDb.com
Though it is an excellent site to use and has good visibility, it is just too much of a pain in the ass to set up an account with them and run an ad (especially if you are not located in Thailand) I got a serious headache trying to make sense of all the forms they faxed me, and couldn't help but wonder: why can't I just sign up online with a credit card??
Finally I found this place: http://www.jobbkk.com/
Took me about 10 minutes to sign up, pay, write my ad and be on my way. Pricing is more flexible than JobsDB as well, and for what I needed, cheaper by a factor of 10. Guess it's a wait and see now, for the kind of results I'll get.

Well, having a problem with JOBBKK.COM now, they can't run my ad because I don't have company "certification" whatever the heck that is. I'm guessing it's to show the company is registered in Thailand (which mine is not) I tied to explain that I'm a foreign company, but either that's not good enough or they don't understand what I'm saying.
Anyone on here in a position to run the ad for me? I've already paid for the thing... If I can get this ad up, I'll be in BKK a week later... drinks on me.
