A credible sources has told me that my wife passed away last year. I have a copy of the marriage papers which am sure it contains her ID Card Number. The last address I had was on Ladprao Rd, but last year she was not there.
Where would I begin my search to obtain a copy of the death certificate. Is there a central office that handles these records now days
Any help is appreciated

I would find out the district office from which the ID number was issued and ask for the death certificate from there, explaining and giving proof as to who you are.
Maybe your embassy could help you in this or atleast maybe point you in a better direction.
I'd even try the tourist police to get informatio as to how to go about this or even the Tourism Authority, although the tourist police are linked to them.
