I (stupidly) registered for the new Nation News and Thai Visa SMS alerts expecting important breaking news affecting expats in Thailand to be SMS'es to me, unfortunately it's just a blanket of crap being sent to me, and I get an SMS almost every other hour. Like I give a toss about the tranny contest in Pattaya ! WTF is ThaiVisa doing ?
When I signed up they claimed it was so easy to unsubscribe, but I can't find out how, it's not in the SMS'es they send.
Anyone know how to turn this pile of crap off ?

I received 2 blasts from TV yesterday, (in addition to all their exciting news stories) The 2nd blast was a correction to the first, very impressive.
They provide an SMS number 087 213 8910 and an email, sms@thaivisa.com, to provide feedback.
I sent the word UNSUBSCRIBE via SMS, 24hrs later still receiving. I'm not going to use an email to do it as clearly that will then get the spam treatment as well.
Not a TV member so can't post.

They say this should be the way to unsubscribe. Try it and let me know.

Cheers EPC, I just dialled the number you gave and instantly received an SMS confirmation that I had unsubscribed.
Looks like its all sorted. Thanks for the help
