From your post I can tell that the seed is sown. I think if you go to LOS you will play, unless you have some real restrictive business over there.
Depending on how you look at it, you will probably end up a little f***ed in the head.
My limited experience in Thailand has made me feel free, but imprisoned; strong, but weak; empowered, but powerless; happy, yet sad; worldly, yet naive; like a young man again, but like an old man too. - wow this is getting profound - better stop.
One thing I can tell you for sure, there is no 'going back' once the 'genie is out of the bottle'.
It has been and is great, but I wonder sometimes where it's all going.
Can you tell that I am 'down' today. All I can think about is my girl back there...oh shit, I said that would not happen to me.
Anyhow, BTF is generally good advice, ie: don't fall in love and practice safe sex.

Like others have said, you already know the answer to your own simple question..... you've found this board, you've done the research, you've already committed the crime in your head a hundred times over.
The real question is not about getting caught, keeping your dirty little secret, or coming home with some STD. It's "Do you think you can handle the after effects?". Many guys have a hard time coping with reality once they've crossed the BKK Debauchery Line.

If you want to be safe and have a good time, go out to all the go gos P4P entertainment, flirt with the girls, let them flirt with you, have some good drinks. Before you do that you should probably go get yourself a normal Oil Massage from any massage place, and get the happy ending along with it. That might lower your drive a little.
Bottom line is that you can still have fun around here without really cheating on your wife, or catching a disease. Just don't think you have to stay locked up in your hotel.
It is a slippery path, but one worth going down.

It's radical, but it occurred to me after a recent case of jock-itch that you could fake a fungal infection in farangland as a reason to start using rubbers. Then the excuse when you come home is you just want to be sure it's really gone before you you go 'sans raincoat' Unfortunately, you need to get yourself a rash first eg: athletes foot, ah...foot in groin disease LOL.

You will become addicted just like everyone is on this forum. You will dream of your wonderful experiences in LOS. Your first thought every morning will be of thai girls, and when you can possibly make it back. Every bloke that I know living here has done the dirty on their misses, apart from one. But he is cracking.
I reckon the same goes for business travellers. If you feel guilty after the first encounter, try it again several times. If you still feel guilty, then you probably did the wrong thing in the first place.
