mm3, MBK stands for Mah Boon Khrong Shopping Center. It's a huge indoor shopping mall with a cinema, karaoke, food court, and bowling center. The place is always packed with teenagers and university students, and offers low prices on just about everything, including clothing and electronics. The 6th floor offers Thai products at low prices as well. It is easily reached by taking the Skytrain to the National Stadium Station. Siam Square is an outdoor shopping center which includes the Hard Rock Cafe. Siam Center is an indoor shopping mall opposite Siam Square. Some of the most beautiful women in Thailand shop at these places, and there are usually many university students as well. The Siam Complex is best reached by the Siam Skytrain Station. MBK is a short walk from Siam Center/Square. Both of these shopping areas are a very long walk from the MS, and the taxi ride could be up to an hour with rush hour traffic. (which seems to be 24-hours a day!) The ride on the Skytrain is only 10 minutes. The MS is one block from the the Nana Station.

mmm, Take the sky train to MBK and you will be there in no time. Check out the KFC on first floor for some free bee during lunch hours. Well I got lucky once. Also right next to MJ there is beauty parlour on same side of the road. They offer some nice after noon sanuk upstairs. Girls were pretty and very friendly. Also would you go accross the street at starbucks and ask for Rin and find out if she still works there. Tell her Morris says hi and may be you can take her out and do her well

Ajarn Tom: Thanks for the info. I assume that signs at the station and many other places are in Thai as well as English, correct? Do Siam Square and Siam Center have their own Skytrain station, or does the National Stadium serves those two malls as well? Sandiegon: The beauty parlour next to MJ, is it like the barber shop that does not give haircuts?

You can use the sky-train to go to Patpong. Get off at Silom Station and change to the Silom line get off at Sala Daeng (2nd stop) walk down the steps going the same direction as the train and walk 2 blocks, Patpong on the right. When you go back to your hotel just as easy and as fast to catch a cab back to Nana. If you do catch a cab get one who's driving by not waiting and tell him meter.

mm2, well its not a barber shop. If you walk out from MJ and go right toward landmark. I think fourth or 5th shop down the road, you will see the beauty parlour with traditional thai massage sign. I believe its right next to coffee shop/net cafe.. massage place is upstairs and not very busy. Their extra's are expensive but everything is negotiable...
