TG's are funny about toothbrushes. My TGF doesn't even want ME to use hers, lol! Had a little issue with this when I was in Phuket with her last year. I'd forgotten mine, and she let me "use" hers. But once back in BKK, I had to buy her another one, lol!

Speaking about the airport, there is something I always wanted to do but never had the time or didn't think of it each time I landed. I'm going to try it in a few weeks... picking up a girl at the airport!
I would assume that the best place for this is where people go thru immigration to depart Thailand. I would assume this is where the final "goodbye tilac" would occur and I would assume this is where the dispensing of excess funds would occur also. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
My next trip, I will land midday, so I've got some extra time to kill.
The strategy would be to watch for someone to say goodbye to a girl and then he goes into immigration. She would likely then turn to leave and get a taxi, this is where I could wander aimlessly by her and strike up a conversation - "I never come here before, where can I buy water, where can I get a beer, where can I get a taxi, is the Nana Hotel a good place to stay?"  Depending on her reaction to all this, perhaps we could share a taxi and she could show me where the "minimart" is. 
The only bad thing is that the girl would likely be "freshly f***ed", but that is a risk you take in a bar as well. Or even meeting a girl in the early evening, as she might have been with her Thai boyfriend just before you.  But that is what showers are for, right?
Of course, there is a chance that the girl is not really on the game, but I'd know that quite quickly because she would be polite but she certainly wouldn't share a taxi with me. The "target" here is a girl who is "on the game", it's not like exposing myself to the maid in a hotel room, then offering her a bunch of money to sell her body to me. 
I know that you can get a girl in lots of places besides the airport, but I'm thinking this might be interesting. I need to start to do new things. Life in BKK is getting a little stale.
What do you guys think of this?

If you witnessed such a scene at immigration and the punter was a BTF member that you recognized (but said member didn't see you), would you still go after the girl? 555

Sorry but it all sounds beneath you (and any long time member). No challenge. Your target is a BG. Be honest how hard is that going to be??
I certainly understand the "need to start to do new things" syndrome. Read on.
IMHO what you are really thinking of trying to pull off here is passing for a Newbie with an experienced BG.
Now that is a challenge worthy of you. Go to a bar, dressed as a newbie, acting like a newbie, telling everyone it's your first time in Thailand and see how long you can get the deception to last - probably till the first time you add "khrap" on the end of a sentence.
I thought about trying this on my last trip - started walking up to a beer bar in Pattaya trying to remember how to look wide-eyed and innocent - what I should have remembered was not to wear two-baht of Thai gold on my right hand.
Give it a try some time. Enjoy.

I am living here but my work requires very frequent travel. Often my wife pics me up at the airport. There are two terminals and the (2) baggage claim areas are connected with a short corridor. As my wife expects me to arrive in Terminal 1 or 2 based on my destination rather than on the monitor she is sometimes positioned in the 'wrong' terminal. No problem, as I know where she waits, and I just walk through the tunnel and come out at the door in the terminal where she stands.
With this knowledge in hand you have your option: regardless where you pick up your luggage, you could always walk out the 'wrong door'. Once you do that there is of course no way back in, so you walk through the public arrival area to the other terminal. Why I don't do that? Well, if you arrive in terminal 2 you have to go out of the door, take a stroll outside and then back in again. This short walk you will be prey of those pesky taxi touts. Plus you have to surpass a zillion of grandmothers that try to manouvre a trolley with six suitcases. It's inconvcenient to take the public route.
