After carefully considering all your suggestions, I realize how foolish it would have been of me to let one second of valuable vacation time be wasted on a slow train; so I’ve decided to fly to Samui Thursday morning and return Saturday evening. This gives me one more night to deliberate over who I will bring – if I decide to bring someone. I’ve decided to find three girls on Tuesday from different bars/gogo’s who say they are free for the next few days, and ST all of them; I will take their mobile phone numbers and consider each girl carefully. On Tuesday I will do the same and by Tuesday night I will have chosen the winner. I will make flight arrangements to Samui via the Internet, and fly out the next morning. If I don’t find the right girl after searching for 2 days, I blame myself. But I’m sure I’ll find something (or someone) to do @ Lamai Beach anyway! Win/win.
I think I'll begin my search around Nana-- Midnite 2 Nite Bar, Rainbow 4, AW, Erotica, Voodoo, etc. Any better ideas?
2nd night I'll visit Soi Cowboy-- Baccara, Midnite, Tilac, Long Gun, Rawhide, etc.
If anyone knows any better spots to hit to find the right girl, or if anyone knows a girl they can recommend, let me know! Thanks

Jake26- Oh lordy, lordy man! You know what I think? I think you are thinking way too much! But, then you are in farangland...  Maybe you have nothing but time to think. So on with the planning then! 
Careful! There are a couple of wrenches headed for your cogs:
1- Booking flights via the Internet for a less than 24 hr. flight departure is a big no-no. I know Thai Airways will not allow it and I suspect that Bangkok Airways [the only option to Samui] will not allow it either. For such a short notice you'd best to use one of the airlines ticket offices or a travel agent.
2- You're hellbent on taking your coal on tour about Newcastle. So be it. But I think it unwise to shop for a companion in the Go-Gos. Why? Those gals target the high volume niche. They're the most mercenary of all LBFMs! Which is to say they inhabit Go-Gos to specialize in multiple STs.  The majority are not going to be interested in being your companion. In truth, most may see it as a money losing proposition. [Read ST opportunities lost.] What you are after is a nice FLer. Therefore, you ought to be shopping for your companion at CM2 disco, Gullivers Tavern, or the Soi 7 Beergarden.

Skip- Yes, this whole endeavor is a rebound from a tough breakup, and what better way to lick my wounds than through a trip back to LOS? So I’ve taken the week off, and today I’ve fine tuned my itinerary for October; and a good thing I did too! I’m much better off now than when I started last night. Check out my original plans. Not only did they have me on a train- but I would have missed that train because I wouldn’t have reserved a ticket far enough in advance! That is if I hadn’t busted my head open on a motorbike first! I work a lot, so I’ve got to make the most of these ten short days I have off per year. I live in America, man. Yes it’s a land of riches and opportunity, but if we’re not a harder working people than the Chinese at the moment, then show me who is—and the pussy ain’t cheap here! You’ve got to eat some shit to buy pussy, and by ‘buy pussy’ I mean you’re going to pay for it one way or another. And like I said, it ain’t cheap.
Thanks for the heads-up on the Gogo’s- I’ll check out those bars you mentioned for sure, and get a ticket to Samui at the airport or through an agent. Anyone else got a suggestion?

Hi Jake;
A few random thoughts...FWIW pack light, travel light - you are moving too much to be hauling luggage around and you don't need it. Consider carry-on only to get you out of BKK airport quicker on the first night. Get a taxi from departures or via the freeway overpass and avoid the taxi que delay. (Note to check in baggage for the flight home or you'll look suspicious - ie: drug courier.)
I can state with certainty that arriving at almost midnight sucks big time. Almost 1am before you can hit Nana or Cowboy after dashing from the airport, throwing your gear into the hotel room and giving yourself friction burns with the towel after the shortest of showers. Nana carpark? Night clubs? Where you going to hunt that first night?
My advice would be to book your flights to Samui now and not take a girl from BKK - find one on Lamai.
Have you been to Samui before? Know your way around like a local? I don't and I get the feeling you don't. The local BG in Samui can show you or guide you - the BKK girl will just be someone you have to take care of.
However on your return to BKK on Saturday - have your 1st choice girl BKK girl meet you at the airport, or at your hotel. Those first nights research will still come in handy. Enjoy.

There has always been a discussion of 'carrying sand to the beach'...
Having lived in Samui for 6 months, I can easily say that many girls (skans & stunners) are available on the spot.
Lamai has numurous clubs where many FLs hand around. In general the beer bars don't have to offer a lot... although gems may be found.

Condition:
- Apply to booking made on http://www.bangkokair.com only.
- Booking and payment are required to be completed at least 2 hours
before the scheduled departure time.
- Only standard meal will be provided.
Still not a good idea to book that late. 6 hours would be my limit most likely.
