By the way: I cant cancel my hotel in pattaya because I booked it over my travel agent and this means I have to pay 80% of the full amount if I cancel it. It is also nearly impossible to get a hotel in pattaya in february this year. The most hotels are booked out!
Then you might consider getting a short time room somewhere rather than pay the 800 baht joiner fee. That won't solve your overnight problem but you can handle two short timers for the same price.
And you can get a short time room all the time in Pattaya.
