And why did he think that? Well let's look at the possibilities..
1. He is drunk and arrogant (possibly)
2. Cos your chick looked like a hooker (which she doesnt)
3. Cos she was in Gullivers - so either a freelancer or a not so good girl (most likely)
If you look around Gullivers you will see it is not a place for 'good' girls. Most girls dont hang around bars with 50% hookers - and those girls that do are usually not that 'good' or have a very thick skin.
So if you ask me why your GF was crying when you got back, I would say this. Your GF was crying cos she was in a freelancer bar being treated as a freelancer and not because of anything that fatso did. She is crying because her hapless BF thinks Gullivers is a good place for a decent girl to play pool.
I thank you for your brilliant and total tactful take on the situation. But I must say that what you have said will be adequant. I did not post this info to be debated with you or have my character put on trial. That last line of possibilities that you wrote (item #3) was completely unnecessary BTW.
My GF owns a beauty salon near Nana, so she knows many of the girls who work. Please don't have the misconception that good girls need us to shelter them from what is wrong questionable in BKK, they know more than we ever will about what goes on in their homeland. She got upset in the manner that this big fella swooped in and got right to business instead making general conversation that would have prevented this situation from happening. I think that most everyone her treats girls with respect no matter what line of work they are in.
I went to Gullivers to meet up with friends in a very public place, so I don't feel that I should have to tiptoe around as if I am in a landmine field. I was truly pissed because this guy circled, waiting for me to walk off for a few seconds. Then upon my return he scampered off like a scared puppy. I do regret losing my temper and threatening the guy, but I don't regret taking my GF there.
