First let me say that I do not recommend doing this, as this is something that could get you in trouble with thai officials, but it is possible to get into the baggage arrivals area and come out through the door as if arriving on an international flight. I have done it.
You will need your passport. Lets say you wish to come out of the doors of Terminal 1 into the loving arms of your TG. Present yourself to the guards at the same exit in terminal 2, tell them that you have lost your luggage and that it has come probably been unloaded at the international terminal but you exited at domestic having just flown in from Phuket (which is both an international and domestic airport!). They will probably only understand the luggage bit, only glance at your passport and then wave you through a series of guarded doors till you are back in the luggage collection area.
Then you walk thru the corridor to terminal 1, out the exit door and into the loving arms of you TGF. The only downside to the reunion will be the "loss" of your luggage which you will have to arrange to be delivered from where you have stayed in BKK prior to your "arrival".
I would only use this one in dire circumstances, there are holes here that could open up and swallow you if you are not careful (the date stamps in your passport, no proof of a recent domestic flight etc) but as I say, it can be done.
