I often tend to become friends with ladies. I seldom take one. Usually the other way around in fact.
I have heard several 20-25 year old ladies express that they are on prowl for an older man. 35-60 years old for a long term relation. However, sometimes they go with a young man for free, just for the fun of it.
But so far what i experience, its not looks alone. Its more about personality and positive attitude.
Personally, i often end up in afterclosing parties, gets invited to whiskey parties and such. Happend occationally that they have to help me home afterwards. However that happens first when return to same bar a couple times. The first time its all about money. Afterall it is their job.

Looks, personality, positive attitude.
Looking in the mirror I see a 2 or 3 for looks, maybe a 5 for personality but a 15 for positive attitude yet throughout my life I've never had a problem with women from any of the countries I've spent significant time in.
Look at it from the other way around. How enjoyable is it to be with a "Barbie doll"? Sure, she looks good but she has a plastic personality and a molded body that might as well be plastic. For most women, personality and attitude are much more important than being handsome.
That having been said, one may look like a 2 or 3, as I do, but that doesn't mean one can't dress or groom one's self for success.
Hermes, I noticed that you are new to this board, I think this is your second post. I'd like to welcome you and I look forward to future contributions by you. I get the feeling that you are young, mid to lower 20's I think, but you seem to have a good head on your shoulders!

hehe im new to the forum yes
Mid30. 35 to be exact. Just came home after a 2 month trip in thailand. My second trip, and the first one was 1.5 month.
My main intrest to go there is for healthreasons thou.
My experiences might be a little off from what most here write.
I have so far only BF 2 times. Once to go play pool with a lady, and the second time as a result for the first time. A lady that i tagged up with some weeks, was annoyed i BF, so i had to BF her to smooth things up.
Actually i have had nights out with ladies several times when they BF themselfs. As well as i have declined many times when they want to go with me for free :P ...
Im not a photomodel, rather ok looking. Never had any probb getting ladies in sweden, nor wherever i been. Seems thou my looks are prefered in thailand. Several times ladies take me to thaiplaces and buy me food, and i have noticed they like to get this face from it.
However, looks make it easy to get contact, but attitude is what gives what to come. Regarding BG some understanding of them helps a lot too. Whats often called Jai dee.
One of the odd things i experiences was a 20 years old that actually followd me home which i noticed first when i opened my door. Nice little thing, very cute. Next day we had a good evening out, and well i thought i should give her something. Which i actually never have done so far.
Tried to give her 1500 bath, and she started to cry. Refused to take it, and she was gone when i woke up next day. As reason she told me i only wanted her for sex.
Sometimes ladies also want more than the money. Atleast them who not yet been jaded and turn hardcore. Even thou i had one of them as well BF herself for a couple days. Didnt touch her thou, and had to throw her out when she didnt listen to reason.
Nevertheless, just found this forum and i will be around for a while. Next project is to clear everything up here, and take a really long trip to thailand.
Since i have lots of time on my hands due to that i am on healthpension, i spend most my time on internet. Read in on all info i have found regarding thailand. Culture, religion, history. Gave me several comments of Roo mak(know too much) this trip.
Even seen obnoxious farang call BG sopanee or hooker. And they got their butts kicked by the ladies. When ladies explained to me what happend, i did get away with say that yes they are. But that isnt something i rekommend to say. For some reason i often get away with say things that others cant. In thailand as well as home. But it isnt something i can explain why, and i do NOT rekommend to do it.
Wherever in world the advice to bring a really good attitude holds true. Leave judging others buried at home, and take ur time to listen to what ppl are saying and respect them for that. Despite disagreement, which often is caused by diff experiences or/and due to a different culture. And u will be well off.
Atleast it seem to work wonders for me

Hermes - OK, so I missed the age but I didn't miss your outlook on life being good, (A good head on your shoulders).
Many of the members here seem to be into racking up as many "numbers" as they can for as little as they can and you are right, your experience is different than what many report here so it will be refreshing to have someone like you around as well.
"Jai Dee"? Many like to use the term to descibe themselves but it seems very few actually wear it well. It seems to fit you though.
Again, I look forward to more of your posts about your thinking and experiences.

I think main reason my experiences might be diffrent than what mostly is reported here. Is cause the simple reason that i have never so far went to a bar, disco or any other venue in thailand with reason to look for a lady, just look for a good time out and get drunk
Rather the opposite when talk about beerbars. I like fun and i like shoot some pool. I usually clarify that im not intrested in take a lady, just have some fun. And i barhop until i find a bar that i like(read like the ppl in it). And then i often return there.
Seen some posts regarding BG privatelife. That they sometimes go out with friends and then money is never the issue if/when they go with a man. I have seen that holds true several times. However, i seldom take a working girl with me home, even thou it have happend. Sometimes i might not even be aware of it. But thats just me.
I think the risk that i add my 0.02$ might be big
