Right I'm posting this in the newbie section as I kinda feel like a newbie again. Its been 2 years since I was in Thailand. At the time a law was passed that all bars (in BKK) need to shut at 1.00. Is this still the case? If so, what 'late bars' have emerged if any ?
With ths law it seemed to me the govt were clamping down on the nightlife which we all know and love. Are there any other major changes I should know about before I arrive in june?
Counting down the days to the 1 o'clock shuffle!

Early closing has been around since 2002, but it did move from 2am to 1am somewhere in between.
Don't worry about the closing times, you will still have a good time, and be able to find a place to drink. Always best to arrange your own after party.
