I think the point is that if a lady is good enough and makes you pay that much moeny with happiness then you should pay. If not just go for another one.
If you still like the lady but the price is just too high you say honestly.
It is not you buy a fixed price merchandise but bi-lateral feeling and rapport.

RTB is right, if you ask them how much they want then you are going to usually get a high quote. If you ask them "what is the going rate?" then you will get a high number. 
If you know the going rate, then just pay that. Or just tell them in advance how much you are going to pay them, and for what amount of time. Then they say yes or no. Most say yes to the normal going rate (which varies according to the venue and the girl) unless they don't want to go for some reason.
Some quote a high price when they think you will pay it (can't blame them), or if they would rather not go at that time for whatever reason (you'll never find out the real reason).

LS is correct. Here in the land of mold and politically incorrect Footie Fans (UK) the going ST (one hour) rate for a Thai or Chinese is GBP 120; for a Japanese, Singaporean, or Malay it is GBP150; and for a Euro it is GBP200.
Interestingly enough, despite the high cost you have to make an appointment a day or so ahead of time if you want a 'first-stringer' and not a 'bench-warmer'.
The P4P market is like any other commodity market, pricing is based on 'whatever the market will bear' and 'highest bid gets the product'. You have to be able to assess the market, bid accordingly, and be willing to walk away from a bad deal.

Unfortunately I've yet to meet a bar girl who says that she normally goes for 4k, but as the dollar has weakened so much she will go for 3k. Maybe I hang around in the lower class places
China Sailor is right, and as long as there are still a lot of potential buyers she doesn't give a toss what the exchange rates are.
