After having read thing lengthy thread I came to the following conclusions and am wondering if they are still up to date:
The Gulati family clan has 3 good branches who cater for a variety of exclusive customers:
* Rajawongse, Victor & Jesse on Suk, between Landmark and Nana
* Raja's, Raja & Bobby Gulati on Suk Soi 4 near NEP
* Gulati Fashions, Jesse & Sam, Suk Soi 3
Other recommended high class tailors are:
* Narin Couture, Suk Soi 8 or Suk Rd 180 (???)
* Taj Mahal, Suk Soi 4 near NEP and next to Raja's
Good quality and cheaper prices than the above mentioned you can find at
* Milan Suit, Suk Rd 326 (near Soi 14)
* A. Song, Charoen Krung 38
I think this could be a good consensus. Or did I forget anything imprtant? Most other recommendations I left out here appear to me more like a personal good experience, but maybe not applicable for everyone.
OK, now my questions to you guys is weather this information is still correct since it's been a little while since the last post here... TIA!

I have used Taj Mahal, and I used to swear by them until I found my current tailor.
I now use Hi-Mark Bangkok, which has about twenty outlets all owned by my friend, the owner, Mr. Roon.
The quality of their work eclipses Taj Mahal. I have several Taj Mahal suits. I never wear them anymore. The quality of Hi-Mark's work is palpable. I also wear Thai silk and Chinese silk jackets made by Mr. Roon's folks. They have a rapid turn-around on suits, but silk takes them longer. The silk jackets that I have now are sumptuous. They run about 3,000 baht. Suits, about 12,000, depending on fabrics and details.
Service is excellent. They come to my residence, when I am short on time.
Hi-Mark, the storefront that I patronize, is located in Ploenchit Center, 2d floor. Ploenchit Center is right across the street from the Marriott. If you stand at the front of the Marriott, where the captain gets your taxi for you, and you look across the street, simply raising your eyes, you are looking at Ploenchit Center.
