Hi, I am from South Africa and I fly to Bangkok every second month to buy clothing e.g jeans and T-shirts to resell here in South Africa. I normally buy in the Pratanum area. Can anyone tell me where the factories in Bangkok are so I can buy from them directly. Someone told me I must go to an area called Bunkee and I don't know if that spelling is correct. Is it true or where else can I go to for the factories?Pls help!
Thailand has Garment factories scattered all around the country along with trading companies based in Bangkok with head offices in Hong Kong.

to answer your question.
I would suggest you Contact the Thai Garment Manufacturers Association (TGMA) ,or the Department of Export Promotion.
Most of these companies carry huge inventory of Grade B stock and are always looking to clear there inventory,However you are talking volume and must be decleared to the Boi as the fabrics will have been imported from mainly China ,India and Taiwan under BOI regulations and must be seen to have been exported for VAT purposes.
There are of course many smaller manufacturing bases here using locally sourced fabrics these will tend to be slightly higher in price but may be will to sell you smaller quantities.
