someone mention to me of a place called dirty market? anyone heard of this place in Bkk b4 or know where it is?? i presume its some kind of market selling all sorts of stuff.

Think you may mean "Thieves Market" or Klong tom as the locals call it. Worth a look if you've nothing better to do, cheap, undergound, opposite Merry King department store, in Wong Burapha district, near Chinatown. If i go there to buy something, I usually leave it till late afternoon, OK, traffics bad, but then I can go to nearby Yaoworat Road, grab a plastic chair and table on the corner by the White orchard hotel, and get the freshest/cheapest/best sea food in Bangkok - you cant miss the corner, 100s of locals eat there every night between 6-10pm.
