As stated in the Siam Paragon Thread - Bangkok probably has one Shopping Mall too many.
BUT - here comes another one :-
PLATINUM is a huge Mall consisting of 6 floors of ONLY Fashion garments and accessories.
It is situated in Pratunam - opposite the CITY CENTRE and adjacent to PANTHIP PLAZA.
It is well laid out with ample walking space - unlike Bo Bae, City Centre, Pratunam, MBK, etc. where the alley-ways are choc-a-block with small stalls and vendors. The individual shops are also done very tastefully.
Of course, all this may be because it is brand new.
The concentration of garments is for Ladies ( from Lingerie to Jeans to very fashionable dresses & tops, etc. ).
BUT my greatest suprise was the prices - which were really quite reasonable. Added to that is the fact that this place caters to the Whole-Sale / Retail business and so you can get fantastic prices on purchases of 3 or more items. ( eg. I bought 3 very good ladies tops for B500 whereas the same would cost anywhere between B750 and B900 elsewhere ).
As Trink used to say - Drop By.
