I find the tone of this thread rather curious. Does Brocher know TPE's bio in any detail, or are we just chit-chatting at cross-purposes by accident here? - Balls

Balls Just chit chattin'. DD is prolly right...;) Sorry Lads ('specially Wowser) for appearin' to highjack this thread, I didn't mean to do that. There are plenty of other threads that have sim'lar comments from Bros about impressin' BGs. Cheerio PS: <Brocher exits stage left, trips and a BG is heard to exclaim, "Som.....">

Brocher no problem mate, I only just posted as to how impressed I WAS with Yurunes talent regarding Thai writing. Daffy posted Doubtful to which confused me straight away, dont know what was doubtful about it I was there Daffy wasnt. Even though I'm still confused but Ive never been too bright anyway.

Tyfon, The picture posters are not BTF members etc etc. They are big laminated paper posters with the Thai alphabet on them and an appropriate picture for each letter. Much like the Kindergarten level ABC-type books I mentioned before. Some people find them an aid to learning Thai.

Thanks, Doctor, or sorry. For what it's worth, I didn't make Archie and Mildred's list either.

yes, left to right.... only minor difference... thai doesn't have spaces and (most of the time) no question marks.

I was always wondering - how does the reader know when one word ends and another begins, and how does that affect style - for example if one wants to add a dramatic pause in literature, or wants to acentuate something, or wants to nest a statement? As for questionmarks - doesn't 'mai' essentially identify a question, at the end of the sentence?
