Good party [ BAR ] trick is to learn to write your name in Thai upside down - not that difficult once you have someone write it out for you - impress's the hell out of TGs when they ask you your name, and you just happen to doodle on the bar mat and there it is !

It's funny how that issue keeps being brought up, by the same type of person, time after time.
You must be a very boring person, who has few enjoyments in life.
Why do people talk about ways to impress the girls:
- It's fun.
- It contributes to social interaction.
- It breaks the ice.
- It's fun.
- It reflects well on the person doing it, as he apparently enjoys treating the girls as girls, human beings, instead of the f*** objects you seem to see them as.

Why, yes. One of the major reasons (besides low cost and huge quantity) that makes Thai hookers so attractive is the GFE. The line between friendship-sex, love-sex, and money4sex is very thin and often wavering here. That's why people go out of their way a bit to have fun with and impress the girls a bit, like a male would naturally do with any other female during the uh "mating courtship ritual". Making them laugh, seeing them smile at you... sweet happy little creatures... Thank heaven... Up to the room. Total satisfaction.

Just a point, the likes of Brocher may be linguistic genius's - but the majority of farangs speak 1 or 2 languages at the most.... the humble bar girl will speak
Thai, Laos or Khamen, and some english / german /japanese - Not bad considering few came from families that could afford to keep them in school past the age of 12.

I'm not a linguistic genius.
If you write in Thai upside down as a way to break the ice, have fun etc., then I can understand that but I can't see why anybody would want to impress a BG.
I often do things to break the ice and have fun with the BG's but that's me trying to interact with them, perhaps to get away from the usual borin' question and answer sessions and have some fun. Also, unlike some punters, I don't play connect 4, pool, dice games etc., to win and so try to impress the BG, I do it to have fun. There's a difference, no?

Okay, I see - the goal here is to avoid, at all costs, in any way, to impress the girls. Breaing the ice is fine, interacting, having fund -- all okay, but the moment that ends up impressing the girl, it's either time to stop, or make sure she knows her place - do I get this right?
I guess it's the difference between those guys who feel good about themselves, like to dress well to be comfortable, and those who don't really care, because, after all, they pay for it?
If what we're talking about is that the goal of the operation is to impress the girl - then I would be tempted to somewhat agree with you, but then replace 'hooker' with 'anyone'. Personally, I happen to engage in behaviors that tend to impress various girls, but it's certainly not the reason I do - and I certainly don't aim to stop, just because that happens.
