You guys should really put anybody that puts you on ignore, on ignore also. Why let them have uncensored views of the board, when they are denying you uncensored views of the board?
I took DD off of ignore when sp revealed he was no longer blocking. If he puts me on ignore again, I will block him again and then garbage posts after all his posts, just to keep him going. 555!

Blonk, so you can hear it form a Thai as opposed to using language translators on the internet... Basically Thais do not say "Baht" because it is considered slang and also not righht... because the little buckets (thats what I call them) that the monks carry is also pronounced the same way as Baht. Now do you get it?
But everyone elses posts are pretty on the the spot.
Talked to my wife about it and she started giving me examples of when to use each example.... lots of good answers here. She also gave me Isaan and Bangkok Thai ways of saying it, although I am no expert in the South. But I cannot imagine that towards the South they use the same word that is the same as the monks.... If ytou know anyhting at all about Thailand you will know no matter if people believe or not, they just don't cross the monk line. Too much bad luck involved.....

Blonk, please don't lecture guys who have been in country a lot longer than you and have been married to Thai girls and live with them.....
Anyone that does not know about Baht gold is a fool. Shit, come up with something more creative than that. Ask your Pattani wife why people don't say "mai baht".....
But you seem like a quick study... you have gone form zero Thai to reading and writing Thai very well. Keep up the good work, some day you may actually use it.
