Actually, the forum doesn't generate any revenue at all. It costs me money (~US$2,000/year) and so long as I can afford it, I'll let it run. Just for fun. And don't worry about bandwidth, this site is hardly hitting 30% of the allowable bandwidth, so go ahead and post more and USE the bandwidth.

Then indeed we should all be very grateful for the service you provide...when you say 'revenue' do you mean 'profit' ? I only ask as you have Google Ads, ad's in place when members are on ignore and I thought you'd done a deal with a hotel booking agency if clicked through from this site....it seems overly generous that you should go to all this effort, just for fun when clearly indirect revenue could be gleaned, I for one would not begrudge you earning a good living from this enjoyable resource.

Revenue as in income, let's not talk profit yet. The ads on the forum server don't bring in anything at all. No one books through the forum site, as they are booking elsewhere to save money. So, yeah, I am doing this for fun and for no other reason.
