This was the first Thai site that I encountered about 8 years ago, before I had ever travelled there. Ever since, it's been my primary source for both legitimate Thai travel information and all the under-ground information about the devilishly deviant Thai nightlife that we all enjoy.
And it's not just the information that I value, but the endless hours of entertainment, escape, dreams, and memories as I flip through these threads late at night, after another high-pressure day pursuing the increasingly elusive American Dream. Whether I'm in Thailand or just dreaming of my next visit, it has become such a refuge for me and this site has been a pivotal part of that.

BM007, I couldn't concur more. I too discovered this forum about a decade ago, and I not only learned from it, but dreamed on it, was inspired by it (it confirmed I had to go again, desperately, because there was just so much moore to discover).
It holds a special place in my heart, like an old mistress that I still haven't grown tired of, but who has changed. Or perhaps it is me who has changed, no longer as innocent, more able to tell the bullshit apart, but still just as capable of dreaming. Only now I do it more in the writing than in the reading. With some exceptions.
Yes, I don't the think the forum has changed all that much since I first started reading about the escapades of the likes of dragon boy and CG and others whose avatars have grown still and stale, for the most part. DG is still around (or back from the dead). And other quieter members, whose lineage can be traced back to those first few months when the forum was giving birth to itself, but who have caused few stirs over the years.
It hasn't changed because it still provides one of the best introductions to the night life, and its attendant concerns, that BKK offers. I say that despite the occasional flaming that breaks out here and there. If you read this forum carefully, you may not be able to navigate the p$p scene in BKK with any assurance, but you can't say you haven't been warned. And at least you know where to go, not that Lolitas is as hard to find these days.
So BK should have put up a contribution button a long time ago. I owe him a great deal.

I would have no hesitations staying there again, you have the choice of 3 pools, and a handy location after all. Not worth the advertised price though IMHO, look out for the specials. The general concensus is the rooms are tired and high number of Middle Easterns, but I don't mind as I enjoy couscous on toast for breakfast
