Doesn't it say something about the recent condition of the board (activity highly concentrated on similar subjects) the fact that a thread about such a boring topic (using other bank's ATMs!) gets posts from such a varied number of seasoned bros. (bkkz, Skip, Bigin, nikko, CalEden, MrJoe, Packripper to name some) over such a short time?
Well, maybe this proves that afterall this is not a "pussy" forum

A little off topic but related to ATMs. I have a few accounts one with loads of money, and one with about one or two thousand baht. When I pay the TG, I normally walk to the ATM machine showing off my pathetic bank balance. When they see it, they don't ask for any tip.

The main point I am trying to make is that the privacy thing has been hammered so much that it is now becoming boring (or at least not as fun as it used to be) and we are now escaping to any thread we find -no matter what it is: ATMs or electric sockets in Thailand -there you go, another one!!
In its 6 pages the very important topic of "I didnt hurt someone" has posts from some 13 different members. Whereas this very boring and pedestrian topic in less than 3 pages has had postings from 12 different members!
Do those numbers mean something? Is there a sign of tiredom and/or boredom being shared somewhere? 
Don't tell me that we normally would come running to check what is being posted regarding ATMs?

Where are we going to end up? It is sad that we have to worry so much about the whole "being PC" thing and about the personalities of some (read: lack of sense of humour) that, just in case, warning disclaimers are needed explaining that it is just a well intended fun.
I can relate to this ^ very well. Yesterday evening I made a short reply in a thread. Then I thought I'd better add a 'disclaimer', just to be on the safe side... but by the time I had added all the possible disclaimers... my disclaimer was 6 lines long and my original reply to the topic was only 4 lines long... so I deleted the reply and went back to "read only" mode. LOL

It goes to show how the topics can go out into lala land smegma ole' pal. But As seasoned memebers I think we have a obligation to answer newbie questions. Especialy about money. I know a guy(exco-worker) that went to LOS, with nothing but Kuwait Dinar in his pocket. He was shit out of luck for the first couple of days, coz GCC states are the only ones who care bout there money. Had he asked me, i'd have told him,leave it in the bank, and draw it as you need it with your ATM. When I caught up with him he had already changed it to local currency. However, if he had'nt, I could've told him of the Branch our Bank in kuwait has in BKK. But hey, dont get me wrong bro., I agree with what your saying too. To much Panty waste happening on the board bro.
