I have Thai colleague to whom, every few weeks, I send some requested items..$1000 (usd) or so every few month. We settle up each time I visit. Far simpler if he could make payment to my USA AMEX or VISA card.
Can be done?

If he has billpay and internet banking with any American bank, I would think so.
He would need all the info from you to (about your card) add a new payee which includes payment address, phone number, acct number including 3 digit security code, etc.
Also, I can make a payment to any individual this way. They just mail a check rather than make it electronically.

I agree with bkkfella.
I do all my banking in Singapore although I spend a lot of time on projects in the US and EU. I have had no problems paying my CC accounts via the internet. I have also bailed out my son by dumping some money on his Visa...
