Well, I'd say the Chinese are accepted in most places. But I've also seen Chinese (mostly tour groups, less so, individuals) getting overcharged (at Nataree in particular, where the cheer guests are given too much slack by the owners, IMO). Maybe that should make our falang friends feel a little better? Sometimes, I get quoted a higher price when I go somewhere because they assume I'm Singaporean or Japanese (which I don't think I look like.... but many Thais think I do) until I roll out with my Thai verbage.
And like I said, most places aren't outright ONLY this, ONLY that. It's just a question of being welcomed there or not. And some people, regardless of race will always be welcomed, and some (for whatever reason: attitude, way of presenting themselves) will be more rarely welcomed.
For example, you might be a falang or black and walk into New Cleopatra. I've seen cheer guests come up and do the normal welcome and point out the girls in the bowl. I've also seen cheer guests just stand around and pretend like they didn't see anyone walk in. Further though, some particular Thais who wander in might also get the ignore treatment (particularly young or shabby looking guests come to mind). Racial based treatment? Partially? Cheer guest attitude? Yes, this is also part of it (to take a bit of weight off this unpleasant racial theme).

Like you said, once you are in you are surround by ladies who are in this club to avoid you anyways!!
Have you found any Chinese only clubs?? I've only heard about Japanese and Korean ones. And .. I've never been in and don't want to!! ha ha ha!!

Just thought I'd add my superfluous comment; I am always offended by bigotry or racism. I think there's no excuse for it. But:
1) This is Thailand and the Thais make the rules, which is as it should be.
2) As Ajarn Packripper has stated, why go where you're not welcome. Any particular venue in which such an attitude or policy prevails is not one I'm interested in entering or giving my commerce to.
3) I have seen the fluid standards that the esteemd Ajarn Ripper speaks of, in action, and have even benefitted from them: In a way that's no better -- It's a bit hypocritical of them (and of me to accept it) and I'd almost prefer consistency. But again --- that's not the way the Thais see it and that's the way they want it.
Who are we to object? It's hardly an international human rights issue and if we are going to be concerned about equality in Thai society, I think we might look to other sectors of LOS before we worry about the treatment of Falang MP customers. 
It'simportant we remember that, understandably, the Thais are not entirely happy about the fact that their country is our playground. We are hardly in a position to say "I demand to be able to come to Thailand and have P4P available at my convenience!" (Not that anybody is suggesting that. I exaggerate to illustrate my point.)
We should be grateful for how much fun and freedom there is already.

Continuing theme of prices rather than discrimination J-One was charging 2000Bht (fishbowl)/2500 (stars). Made the mistake of tipping papasan 300bht and he then recommended the worst TG masseuse I have ever had -- off hand, rude "you very fat- two babies", perfunctory, didn't even shower before soapy, no idea of massage, refused muff dive. In the end I got dressed and walked out. Didn't see her multiple tattoos until too late. #487 I think. BEWARE
