I noticed the same thing, the fishbowl girls were enthusiastically waiving, trying to get the attention of customers, and the sideliners looked fairly aloof. Human nature is funny, snobbery can apparently even present itself in a Thai soapy once an upper class and lower class are established, however artificial the lines really are.

Cupidy is one of my favorite and I drop by this place in every trip.
I like it for three reasons.
1 The girls provide very good service.
2 This is one of the few MP In BKK that include body to body 'BKK slide' in the session.
3 Plenty of girls to choose.
I have chosen from both fishbowl and sideline here and noticed that the sideliners' service was as good as the fishbowl girls in this MP.

True, I think Cupidy was about the only place I visited where the girl gets all soaped up and slides all over you, which is a lot of fun.
I agree that for price, selection in terms of numbers and decent quality, Cupidy is a "can't miss". The only negative is dealing with all of the touts/street hustlers surrounding the place, trying to claim you as a commission.

Its really only a short stroll from nana soi 3 over the intersection, stroll in the place like you go every week.
Ignoring everything around you usually works like a charm.

Many bros gave advice on picking fishbowl girl over sideline girl due to better attitude. Please tolerate me to elaborate on another point about choosing fishbowl girls of different category.
There are some MP in BKK having fishbowl girls ( not sideliners ) giving the same kind of service and sitting in different sections and there is different price for picking from each section. The price difference may well be only 200-300 B. Some examples are Maree, Catherine, Hi class, J-one.
More often than not, I see girls who carry the higher price tag are not any prettier than the other group (s). In a number of occasions the more expensive girls appear slightly older.
A papasan gave me a neat explanation to such pricing policy. His simple two word answer : 'better techniques' --- translation "higher price girls fxxx better". I generally buy his theory and pay more attention to the pricey ones inside the fishbowl.

I tend to agree with this.
I picked a higher priced girl on the right side at Bangkok Cozy and she was fantastic. Stripped right away to show me her fantastic bod and was a champ in the bed.
Usually I ignor the papa/mamsan's rec's.... but the higher priced girls in the fishbowl seem to be worth it.
