This usually comes out of the tip you give to the girl. 20 - 40 baht. I've never left a tip for the room attendents, but the girls themselves leave 20 baht, sometimes 40 baht. Since I give the girl 500 baht, it's a good tradeoff. Also, I tip the drink girl and the papa/mamasan. Since I get 2 girls, thats 500 baht x 2, so 1000 baht total, just for the girls and the room attendents the girls tip.
You can always tip the maids that clean your hotel room 100 baht. Thanks.

Went to Cupidy yesterday around midnight and the FB quality was very poor.
10 girls and they were all below 5 (to me anyways).

I don't think you should be put off by your first experience of an inflatable soapy.
Your high expectations have come from what you had imagined it would be like. Your suspicions are not unfounded. It's just that you happened to choose a girl who was not so proficient in that skill. Not many are.
All the girls at soapies, go through all the motions that they have been trained and taught to carry out on the soapy mattress. Not all can do it propely. And only a few can do it exquisitely.
It's a question of trial and error, seek and find. But once you've found a girl at a soapy who can do it well, you'll laugh at the other attempts and want to return to her again and again for the full treatment at the soapy touch of an expert body massage.
It is also, as has been mentioned many times before on this forum, a question of to what degree the guy and the service provider hit it off with one another, if you'll pardon the expression.
There is a world of difference between a waitress unfolding a napkin for you and gently laying it on your lap and a MacDonald's helper slapping a paper tissue on the table for you. Both result in the customer being provided with something to wipe his mouth with, and / or to protect his clothes. But the two provisions are world's apart.
NiFrenchie, don't give up. It's out there. Try again.
But to be honest, midnight was far too late to go looking for it.
Usually the best lookers, know that they can rely on their looks for customers. They have no need to refine their soapy mattress techniques.
In your long waiting and choosing time, try to search out for the girl who you think knows the business. Be content with the experience. You can, as you say go to Soi Cowboy afterwards for some eye-candy.

Couldn't agree more with your synopsis. Had a wonderful soapie over at J One last month. Picked a lady in her late 20's from the middle of the bowl, she was wearing a short red skirt and had larger boobs, which turned out to be surgically enhanced (but very nicely done). Average to above average looks, just normal looking. The big surprise was the in tub massage with the soap suds, followed by a remarkably skillful body-to-body massage on the air mattress. She really knew what she was doing on the mattress, and it was great fun.
So you're right, keep lookin', all soapies aren't created equal. The papasan had suggested a different lady, one who was prettier, but she just looked too hard core for me; I got the impression the experience with her wouldn't be as personal. I was happy with my own choice.

I had all these expectations about the Soapy experience and Cupidy (or should I say the Lady I had) did not live to it.
I am however ready to give them another go... hopefully I'll be luckier the next time around
