As Pack says, most of the girls here say they're from Chiang-Rai but in general they are Shan ethnic Tai. Many are also fluent in Chinese and their dialect while similar to Thai is identifiable (to an ear better trained than mine).
This ethnic grouping covers northern Thailand, northern Myanmar, western Laos and southern China.

Last year a few Shan or Tai Yai were from as far as Yunan Province and speak perfect Chinese as well as thier Tai ethinic language which is quite similar to Thai.

Wonder if any of that money went to friends in the Ministry of Energy or local plumbers & steamfitters union. Can anyone update us on the hot water situation in Nataree? Do they have any? With the great selection of girls there, it's frustrating to freeze in the bath. Should I wait and hope that the girls will eventually move to the big new building with a functional water heater?
