Truer words have never been spoken -- Thailand's P4P market is arguably one of the last TRUE free market economies, in that regard.
Frankly, I don't have the time to worry about an extra $10, $30, or $50 as long as I get value for the money I spend. I believe it was said in an earlier thread, that the girl is compensated to satisfy me, and the least I can do is return the favor.
We're here to enjoy ourselves, not quibble over pennies.
