If you are farang then I would suggest the 500-1000 baht most of them charge extra would cover it. If you are of Asian ethnic background, feel free to tip this amount.
As a farang, I have mostly stayed away from the "soapies" ever since the Ratchada area establishments first introduced this obnoxious policy 10+ years ago.
I have no idea whether the masseuses actualy recieve the farang surcharge or if it just goes into the pockets of the greedy owners.

Sometimes, I don't give any at all, at times I may give 500B, and if there was an additional round involved, she would expect an extra 1,000B or 1,500B for two additional rounds.

I use the following rule:
Expensive soapies: 100 - service OK, 200 - happy, 300 - very happy.
Ordinary priced soapies: 100 - service OK. 200-300 - happy, 300-500 - very happy.
I never tip if I dont get good service.
