Cannot be more specific!!!
I do not like Durian Fruit but I love Durian Chips.... Many different qualities but I am looking for the small, thin and yellow chips...
I am sure that there are plenty of durian chips amateurs on BTF. Please share your best places/markets in BKK.
PS: the best I found so far were in Pattaya

but I remember when I went to KL on biz and I checked into the hotel room a sign said "no Durian allowed in rooms" the stuff apparently stinks up a place..

I continue my quest for the perfect thin and golden durian chips...
So far nothing very convincing at the moment. The best I could find in BKK were at Tops supermarket, an "Otop" brand.
Indeed ATL, durian stinks maaaaaaaak. You hate it or you love, there is no neutral opinion. It is a festive fruit in most of Asian countries. But not allowed in hotel rooms, flights.
Bakoy, yeah I know for Chonburi area but looking for BKK sourcing at the moment.

They sell fruit in dried forms.. (the bags at 100 baht) like pineapple. Perhaps they also have these things.
Suan Chatuchak would be a good place to look I guess.

Villa has some as well. But according to my Mrs none of the ones she has ever bought in BKK taste as good as the chips from Rayong area.
Chatuchak may be a good bet but I have never seen them and I'm sure the Mrs would have smelt them out.

Chips, like the fruit are more plentiful during the season - which is sorta now. Best bet is to look for night market selling the fruit to see if they also have chips.

Best are definitely from Rayong. Can buy in many small shops in Chonburi area. Nothing similar in many of the shops I tried in bkk.
Most probably can also be found in Pattaya, but need to ask chips coming from Rayong.
