Cnn and Sansabai are two good places.
Dany, the owner of English Bar in Soi Eric is a very nice guy.
Yes, Ood is a long hair tall thai man, partner with his young brother Nang, and yes I think Kangaroo Bar, the one near the sea, in front of Soi Easy, is the best Bar in Patong.
Funny, Tina Turner "simply the best" at 12pm every night in Soi Eric, the owner of the Soi seems to get a huge head !

Have you stayed at the C & N hotel? Is it any good and how far of a walk is it to patong beach from there?

C & N Hotel is IN Patong.
less then a minutes walk to the nearest bar.
and Bangla Road is on your doorstep.
enjoy yourself.
the actual beach is around 5 minutes walk away.

Hi gl51, Nokna is rite on the mail inregards to C+N hotel
you are with in walking distance to everything.
I`ve found the rooms to be good and clean,,they are servised every day,no guest charge either.
Ive stayed there around aseveral times now and will
keep going back.oh yeh it does not have a pool
but the beach is five min walk straight down Bangla rd
It has room servise for food and you can sit down out the front and order a meal if you want.
Dont forget to give them your flight details as they will pick you up from the airport free.
Enjoy you lucky so and so Im not back until the 22 July.

i had forgotten about my pathetic attempts to walk past all the bars on Bangla and sit on the beach.
i have never ever lazed around on the beach whilst in Patong and have only ever walked on the sand 4 times.
how sad of me.

Has anyone stayed in the C&N Resort and Spa ? The hotel facility looks very nice but looked kinda far from the action.

don't know about the Aloha Hotel,but C&N is as close to the action as you can get.
C&N Spa and Resort seem to be out of town a little,i don't know as i have rarely been that far from Bangla.
but if you want a Hotel away from the scene,then this could be good.
not for me,mine must be within 10 minutes walk from the bars,good for a S/T.

but for fun and walking distance stay at the C+N Hotel
I`ve got them down to 500 bht per night for my arrival end of July,clean rooms but no pool,so what ?
