I'm sorry to hear about the people in Pattaya driving you out. I have heard of Internet boards related to that area driving people out but I haven't yet heard about businesses in the area trying to drive business away. That sems rather counter productive.
What BKK apartment management company did you go through to keep an apartment you used only in transition to Phuket? Was it a time share or something? Naklua as well as Jomtien? Shit! You went through a lot of trouble just to get to Phuket! You seem to be able to find choice apartments almost anywhere you go or transit through, can you share any of the rental/real estate contacts that you used to get such sweet accomodations?
