Well, can speak from personal experience on this one. I have a friend who has worked as a nurse for 16 + years. Owns two pieces of property, a condo in Bangkok and a house in Isaan. Has a fairly good nest egg in the bank. Owns her own auto-a very nice Honda passport. Had a letter from her employer Bangkok Christian Hospital on Silom RD stating she was a work-a-holic. Is 38 years-old. Applied once and was denied the Visa. Contacted my congressman and his office sent a letter on her behalf and again she was denied. Really pissed me off but what can ya do? There is nothing that can make this process any easier. On the other hand, a friend's girlfriend just applied and was given a 10 year multi entry visa with no questions asked.
