My wife is a little more intense when it comes to this subject. She has access to a gun, and lets me know she will use it. LMAO! Just interested keoron you talk about marrying in Thailand and then soon after talk about what would happen if you divorced.
It seems to me that you may have some doubts of your own about whether this will work.
I am also from England and also married a Thai girl and brought her here and sure we were happy for about the first 4 years and now after 7 years have decided to call it a day.
My point is I was sure that I was doing the right thing and as happens sometimes it goes wrong,but it might not be a good idea to go through with it if you have any doubts at all.

i think he is just precautious. knowing the facts of how many marriages with thais go down the drain, this is a seriuos question to ask!
concerning the butterflying. as for the thais it is usually excepted. also the girls i was staying a while together with, did know that i was cheating on them. as long as they do not know and do not loose their 'face' it will be generally accepted by most TG!
as we all know south east asian girls are usually also not as faithful as western girls anyway!

Griffin - I disagree. My girlfriend told me that if I wanted out or if she caught me with someone else that she would walk. No theatrics, no violence, she'd just pack her things and leave. One probably could argue that it is accepted since and if they have no choice but it would be my guess that given the choice, they would choose their man to stay true.
I would also disagree about SEA women not being as faithful as western girls at least that hasn't been my experience. It may have been in yours but that doesn't mean "we all" agree.

i did not say they are all like that, but it is in general more easy and likely to get a SE Asian girl unfaithful than a western one.
you are right if they would have the choice, of course they would like their bf or husband to be faithful.
my point was only that it is more generally accepted that boys / man go around to mp/gogo etc. or have mia nois, than in the western world

I think that one interesting point to be considered is the "loss of face" shitty concept. According to what I've seen so far this concept is predominant throughout all the levels of Thai society and clearly has Ưa strong influence on Thai women.
Thus, even if you have an active B-girl/GG-girl/MP-girls or the like as a GF she will get pissed if she finds you are "butterflying" somewhere no matter you know she is f_cking three times a day with her customers....amazingly, within some rich families the wifes "allow" the husbands to "butterflying" mainly at HiSo Clubs and MPs cos those are places where the "neighbors" and "family friends" won't see the husband having some fun outside the house....weird! but that's the case of my rich colleagues and many others I've met.
Of course, there are few (and I mean a few) guys who met B-girls/GG-girls/MP girls or the like and picked up the correct TG that became the most careful, charming, trustable and adorable babe they've ever seen after getting married. Lucky bastards. However, there are MANY others that cannot sleep well the times they are outside home during business trips, right?
