We all smell different to Thai people because of the food we eat. I tend to take three showers a day and change my shirt two to three times a day when I'm in Thailand. BG friends have told me how smelly many guys are.
One thing to remember, Thais discriminate against dark skin Thais.
I think the smell thing is quite interesting stuff.
I have an extraordinary olfactory sense. Maybe in my last life, I was a dog (thanks for the upgrade, anyway  ).
Believe it or not, I can come into a room, and with closed eyes tell you which people are sitting there, if I know them (my friends are quite well groomed, mind you).
Also, in apersonal setting, sitting down with a woman near me, I can smell it if she has her period or not.
That being said, I think that your body smell depends on BOTH your genes and the stuff you eat.
For myself, I noticed that being on a diet of real chinese food for some time has reduced my body odor from little to almost nil.
TG’s and other Asians are way more conscious about both good and bad body smells (think pheromones) then most Europeans. The thai sniff kiss and japanese armpit fetish come to mind here.
I also noticed that many, though not all asian girls I met have about no offensive body odor on them, dark skin or not (notice, I didn’t say no body odor, but rather “no offensive body odor”).
Yeah, you might say “of course they shower like 5 times a day”, but I’ve always been able to smell their pheromones, very subtle, think neck, shoulders & armpits. Quite different from Caucasian women. Quite like a good red wine…
I’ve noticed the same “phenomena” on Asians in germany eating pretty much the same stuff as germans do.
I’ve come to the conclusion that this is, among the dark hair factor one of the MAJOR things that turns me on about asians…
Can you distinguish between different people's farts?

Depends on "what" kind of Indian you are? Regular TGs definitely don't like the loud obnoxious kinds (of any country.)
Unfortunately, TGs don't like the "South" Indian kind (who are more negroid.) They do seem to have no trouble with the Indians from North, who are fair skinned and wear clean clothes. I know this guy who grew up in England and is a British citizen, XXX Sharma. So he is of Indian heritage. He travels to BKK for biz/pleasure. He has 2 mistresses in BKK! He takes care of presentation, and speaks with authority and confidence.
If you come across as cheap and petty, no one anywhere in the world will like ou anyway. Some simple etiquette leasons would definitely serve a lot of people (my Nationality (French) included.)
Finally, if some people don't like you for things you can't change like your genes, why bother with those stupid bastards, move on. Not everyone like cherry pies, some might prefer apple-pies, but you are guaranteed to find some who like cherry-pies!
