I know what my regular BG earns per month after many long tours with her. I know roughly what she gets in salary to dance, lady-drinks, and customers per month, plus costs, and what she sends home.
I have become very fond of this one. She is great to me, tells me she loves me, and that I am the only boyfriend (probably not, but the GFE is damn good) BUT however good she is, including honest, demure & well mannered IT DOES NOT MEAN SHE ISN'T HARDCORE.. I kinda like that about her.
My mates who sponsor their girls asked me why I don't sponsor her so I can have her 100%, after all I have 'paid bar' once & for all (that was just economics for me).
Now to her economics. She has a child up country, and some land. She saves to build house on this land, retire & take care of the kid....that's the story.
She just isn't going to stop work if I replaced her earnings with a sponsorship, and I don't want to fool myself or put unrealistic expectations on her, and force her to be dishinest with me.
I just pay her well when I am in town (more than she asks for) and I am always pleased if she has increased her bank balance.
I even hope she makes plenty when I am out of town, maybe even gets a sponsor.
As long as she is 100% when I am in town, I am happy.
Anyway, that's just my situation FWIW. I have heard of other sponsored girls going off the game (I kind of doubt it) but that won't work for me.

Oldtimer has meet many girls with sponsors. They tell a lot of things to an old guy like me. But, I don't pretend to me an expert on anything, especially women.
Most bar girls want to meet a jai dee farang and settle down but life has not always dealt them a good hand....so its hard to adapt oneself to a GTG style of living, especially when one lacks education.
Of course, some smart and determined one can change their lifestyle for the better.Even way back in the mid 70's I even met a lady who owned a sting of bars who had once been on the game herself.
Well Oldtimer has to get going in a few minutes.
I was thinking of eating lamb chops on my own at Khun Serge's Le Boucheron in Patong, but perhaps I will make a call at Nana first and then its probably on to some Thai place with a pair of TGs. Such is Bangkok life in the early 21st. century.

Sorry, Oldtimer meant Patpong Soi 2 in Bangkok. Don't go looking for Le Boucheron down in Puket's Patong Beach...which itself is close by Oldtimer's more regular lair.
By the way, Le Boucheron with its excellent grub is a very special little place... almost next door to one of the town's more important oral establishments. But remember your TG won't' find Thai food inside...the Le Boucheron kitchen is way too small for that.

Loyalty ain't so bad. There are a lot of girls working the bar scene in BKK and elsewhere who really want to get out but can't afford to. Not all bargirls are hard core hookers. It's naive to think so just as it is naive to think that all bargirls are willing to be sponsored and then give up the life. U learn by experience...some are ok and some are not.

I'll add my two baht worth here!
I havent posted on here for nearly 2 yrs, but I still read the posts.
I met a girl in Bkk, she worked in a bar and I spent alot of time with her. When I thought it was going to go somewhere I asked her to quit working and I would send her money to make up for it.
She did this and thankfully she get her promise until she came to the UK on a Visitors Visa.
She has been here ever since apart from the 3 weeks we spent sorting out her settlement visa.
We have been married 1.5yrs and are expecting our first child in October.
