I do agree that some TG's avoid indians but it is not true all the time/cases. I have lived here for 9 years and had no problem in any bars/clubs. My co-workers have always respected me. I have been dating couple of my co-workers too. I have even taken girls from Exotica Soi thonglor (Hi Class as mentioned in previous posts) and above all I don't look hunsum either but I do admit that there are certain indians from places like UP, Bihar and other northen part of india, who do behave badly with TG's. Majority of TG's think that all the indians sell "Peanuts" but it is not true, there are highly educated and well behaved indians too!

They wouldn't like a mile up the road from me. It's ALL Indians and Pakistanis. A big Mosque as well.
I have come across this issue a number of times and they use the expression
'Sok a prok'.
I think there are also historic and cultural reasons for not liking darker skin and it is not just confined to Thailand.
Westerners do smell to the Thai nose, probably because of our diet and the resulting sweat odour. Try offering a Thai pork that comes from the West and watch them turn their noses up! They obviously cure it differently in Thailand.

what the thai's hate to admit is that there whole being is based on indian culture yes the food, religion buddism is really second hand hinduism language based around sanskrit love of the elephant umm the god ganesh love of gold indian love of money indian but where they fall down is indian's worship the cow in india you hurt aa cow you go to prison for a long time man but they all eat beef freely to be a good budhist you are a vegan the thai' s eat meat that's why I don't get it when the girl come's to my condo and wai's the buddha and then gets fu***d let me what ya think !!!

For those of us who are aromatically challenged, it can be a bit of a drag. Most East Asians have the same issue (Japanese, Chinese, etc.) they think we all stink! And for sure some of us do.
Then we have the second problem; you finally get them over that hurdle, get the scrub down, do the nasty, feel good and go home. Meet wifey, gf, etc. at the door...
"where u been?"
"out with friends"
"u lying dog! You have sex with someone!"
"No darling, why do u say that?"
"I stand here, no smell anything, you lie!!"
"er, ah, yeah, well, we went to the gym and I took a shower."
Sleep on the sofa for week or two.
But at least you got laid!!

You are absolutely correct. Thai culture is really based on indian culture. You see they have many places and names which are related to Indian Ramayana. Thai classical dance is really based/adopted from Indian state of kerala's "Kathakali". Last time when I visted Kerala I saw few thai students there learning Kathakali dance at Kalamandalam (one of india's biggest and most respected performing arts institute) and above all recently I read in Bangkok Post that King Rama V use to frequently visit Delhi and Jaipur in India, he saw the railway system and introduced train here. When they can adopt so many things than why not Indian Humans??? Well but as I have mentioned in my earlier post, its only with some TG but majority of TG accept indians. One of my friend who operates group tours told me recently that some indian tourists are really damaging indian name in Hotels/Bars/clubs and massage so I should admit that there are negative views too.

The English owe a hell of a lot to the French (half their language for a start), but that doesn't make them like them any better.
There certainly is some prejudice against Indians in Thailand, but it's not universal or usually very deeply felt. I'd guess it's partly a colour problem - most Thais do have a thing about dark skin (which applies as much to themselves as anyone else). Even so, most Indian guys I've knocked around with in the bars seem to do just fine. The one exception had a hostile and contemptuous attitude towards the girls which he wasn't very successful at concealing.
