I've come across ( I apologise ) students studying for their M.A. in various disciplines and their English is limited to what they remember of studying it in their school days, which is minimal. But what they have lacked in English Language skills, they have more than made up for with other, more developed skills, knowledge and ability to be innovative and exciting.

The great thing about RCA is that there are plenty of working girls from the nearby massage parlours out and about mixed in with non working girls. So punters can simulate picking up "students" to their heart's content.

A new (for me) twist on an old theme.
I was in MBK an hour ago browsing the student lovelies and buying some beach wear and I saw a 183cm slim blonde in full university kit: tight short black skirt with obligatory slit, figure hugging white top and badge. My first thought was Take-away Kiev Fur Burger, but she was with a bloke also in uniform, complete with badge, also tall and slim and caucasian. Hmmm double act?
I am seeing one of my student lovers tonight and I will ask her, but I thought that all classes were in Thai, so unless these two were learning English but also coping with incidental Thai dialogue, there was something not quite ridgy didge.
I made eye contact with the woman (mid-20s and pretty and definitely slavic cheek bones) and grinned and raised an eye brow while looking at her "badge" and she openly looked me over in my suit, and this made me pretty much close the book on the deal going down.
Anyone else see Europeans in the uniform? Sorry but it kind of seems counter-inuitive to have a girl in school uniform who is probably taller than most of mongers... I mean it runs in the face of the usual school uniform fantasy. But then it takes all types.

I have never lurked around the campuses as I have more than enough access to students without trying to pick them up at the source.
I asked one of my assistants (she is doing a MA at Chulalongkorn University) and she confirmed that there are International courses at her alma mater and whilst there are not many, there are some europeans at her school. Well, all I can say is that I have lived a sheltered life.
I think I need to be punished. I think I have to go to Darling and speak nicely to the papasan from hell, but last time I was in Soi 12 it looked closed - about 6 weeks ago.

Half of Thai teens shun condoms for sex

About half of Thai young people who engage in sexual intercourse do not use condoms, according to Public Health Ministry.
The information was released on Thursday to mark the annual celebration of the World Aids Day on Dec 1.
Dr Somchai Pinyopornphanit, deputy director-general of the Disease Control Department, said that the average age of youth to experience intercourse for the first time is as young as 15 years old and more than 50% of the youths do not use condoms.
The HIV/Aids situation in Thailand, however, has been on the decline, he said.
It is expected that there will be 14,000 people newly-infected HIV cases in Thailand in 2007, comparing to 140,000 new cases found in 2004.
About 45% of the new cases are believed to be found in female teenagers and housewives while 20% are believed to be found in homosexual men.

Oh dear,, dammned statistics and dammned lies.
One could assume that 80% of the homo-sexual population already HAD the desease therefore a 20% increase would be 100%??
45% of the new cases are believed to be found in,,,,, female housewives ????? how many cases where found in non-female house persons?
I note a nil increase in Katoy infections?? or just a statistic not logged. ( perhaps included in the housewife catagory).
If a twisted mind,,, HEY leave me out of this... was to play with these statistics,,,.......OK its reasonably accepted that unprtotected anal sex is a major contributor to the spread of this desease.
SO a Statistician could well assume that 45% more housewives and students are pleasuring their partners with the Anal option? Or 45% more are accepting this option without a condom?, Let's split the difference 22.5% on each side.
AS for the increase for homosexual men,,,,,,,,,
