Most of the advice given is good advice, except Harold's of course. 
Having said that I think it is imperative for you to establish good chemistry with the girl before you get on that airplane. Give her a test ride and see how the two of you get along after the deed is done. That will give you some idea how she will handle those times when you are doing the day by day thing.
Take it from a two time loser, nothing is worse than being around a Thai girl that doesn't want to be with you.

You have a point. It's a holiday for the punter. It's work for the girl.
But as XPC later says in his post you need to make sure the chemistry is right first between the punter and the girl. If it is right then it can be a working holiday for the girl too. Agreed?

oh it's a working vacation for the girl, especially if she is with someone like DG or myself.
She will need all the courage she can muster to be able to take what I give her and still smile....
Believe me,
I know it is hard.... but I let them know what they ar ein for before we start our adventure.

Not easy to take a TG along with you in hollidays, can maybe be done if your idea of holliday is to sleep on the beach, but otherwise if you want to go visit places and discover...forget about it.
They dont like to walk, are not interested in seing anything that is not THAI, dont like to eat anything that is not THAI, get bored if not surrounded by people who speak THAI....
Your best option is to let her at the hotel (with a little shopping money if there are shops around, not far!) and just to "use her" at night...
This way she can sleep all day and will have energy to take care of your needs...otherwise it will be the "i m too tired we walk too mut today I want sleep..."
