I wish these travel companies were consistent. I just phoned and got quoted £580 as the cheapest with thai air so I phoned back 10 mins later and got quoted £480 and was told thats the lowest price I will get. I even had one guy once telling me that thai air dont fly to BKK...loL! Was that including all the extortionate taxes Monty?

I found the month of May the cheapest time to travel to Bkk last year. Both Eva Air and BA were offering direct flights for £360rtn all inclusive of fees. Will wait patiently to see if thesame happens this year (too soon to buy tickets) but the $400 looks a good deal.

Ive found June and July to be cheapest in the past. April is too hot and sticky for me but May and June are nice and sunny with the occasional shower every few days.
To be honest, all months of the year for Thailand have their pros and cons. What with weather, price of accomodation, how busy places are, booking of available rooms, flight prices etc etc. All depends on what you want. Ive seen flights to go to Thailand in 2 weeks time for £350 each....not bad for last minute bookings.
Each to their own.

Read my lips.... Flight tickets to Thailand will get cheaper as all the misery from the past month will have the tourist branche to offer special discounted rates and incentives. A lot of cancellations have been received and arrivals at Bangkok airportt are down 30 %. Airline ticket prices will go down soon.

Flight prices didnt change more than 10% when there was SARS and bird flu crises from the UK. Just looked at a few carriers (e.g: KLM, Lufthansa and Emirates) and all have just put up their prices to Bangkok. Dont forget that many people may still fly to bangkok but just use the airport as an onward hub to somewhere else. I cant see flights getting cheaper.
