Oil commodity speculators have jacked fuel prices even higher for the summer months. Lets crystal ball how high airfares can go ? LAX - BKK $1,600 on Summer average ? LAX - Manila, then some more baht Waiting patiently to rebook my next trip in later July and http://www.bookingbuddy.com ain't helpin much. How much is too damm much too pay for P4P play ? between the USA or Euro work schedules. Costa Rica and Mexico are just down the way.

Yep gotta admit it we in the USA don't get much Vacation due to debts and sheer $$$ greed. Besides our employers have cut staffs down making them more responsible to multitask work. Most of us on average take only 2-4 weeks a year or spread a long weekend out. I usually would go to Thai for 10 days x 5 a year, but now 3 X 18 days, cause flights are running > $1,000 and frequent flyer miles dont add up fast. Tour packages here I go !

I've gotten tired of Northworst and decided to cash in all my FF miles, then switch to another airline for BKK travel. I got a ticket in June to Narita (outward in Business class via Detroit, return First Class on a direct Continental flight to Newark) for 120,00 miles plus $68.57 in fees. I bought the NRT-BKK-NRT R/T for $500. Not a bad way to say good-bye to Northworst. EP

Book Em Danno ! Whew ! thought I'd never see a Western USA to BKK price below $1200, due to the fuel greed going on lately. China Airlines from Sept. On, has SFO - BKK deals at $784 including taxes and fuel surcharges. Around $850 for Aug. Had to book 2 flights, but so much for Summer. Rainy season in BKK, but knee deep in P4P and thats what matters. Bro's over there now under the StarAlliance program / $24 dollar per milage cash in. Still they had to fly boo coo ! 100K miles last few years to get upgrades and still keep the pay for miles up also. Anyways ! get em while you can.

Just paid for my Denver - BKK on United for October and again in January. Cost $1150 USD. I also found EVA Air out of SFO for only $850 USD and that was Evergreen Deluxe Class... Much better than coach. regards, gary
