Anybody been able to capitalize on these deals?
I am still ringing, 3 days later. It is still engaged. If I don't hear about anyone getting these deals, I'd say it was not as easy to book as SingAir says.

Only if you select a departure date that is within 72hours of booking do you have to call. ÝBut then again this deal doesn't involve calling the airline.. you only have to call the travel agent thats selling the deals. Ý(airline-network.co.uk or netflights.com). ÝIt's definitely kosher. ÝThe only slight draw back I can find for the deal I want is, it has to be confirmed by tomorrow, but thats with hotel and flights. ÝThe 'flight only' deals were even simpler. Ý

Another way which i would recommend if you fly regulary is China Airlines. I Ýpay £465 from tke u.k. so from AMS i would think about £400 and sign up for the frequent milage,they have just changed the milage program so the airmiles are worth about £100 every time you fly.
I have a contact in newcastle u.k. that are prefered agents for China so they can usually get you on any flight.
Plus for an extra £300 you can fly upperdeck. Business class seats standard service.

thanks for the feedback. But, I am not in England. And according to SingAir, you can only book these directly from SingAir. I am in Australia.
I always leave open the possibility that I misunderstood what they said.
I am anxious to hear about anyone who gets these fares, including the 2 nights' accommodatin in Sing.

Turkish... I can get China Airlines to BKK for about £428/ £464, depending on the season (that price is part of a package deal and inculdes airport transfers and 2 nights in a 4* hotel in BKK). ÝIt's by far the best standard priced flight from here to LOS.
On my last trip I sweet-talked the check-in staff in BKK and got to sit in business class buffer zone (i.e business class seats and economy class food).
I can't get any trips to Singapore via your website on any dates that suit me. ÝI can't take any holidays from work in July or August and they are still trying to find me something for this month. ÝI must add how VERY helpful the girl on the phone was.

outbound 3 july... return 11 july...
flights only: ݣ231.60 (330euro)
flights + 7 nights in a 3*hotel with breakfast + airport transfers, inclusive of all airport taxes for ݣ387 (550euro)
I should add though... it seems to be different deals SAI are offering out of different countries. ÝI called the SIA office in Amsterdam this morning... and the deals they are offering from here aren't half as attractive as the ones leaving from the UK. ÝThe best I could get from here was... 550 euros for return flight, inclusive of 2 nights in a hotel. Ý(no transfers and excl of taxes).
