deluxe economy on eva has always seemed to be the ticket..... long flight with the changovers, but nothing booze and ambien wont take care of.

I have Cathay booked from NYC later this year at $865 including all surcharges and taxes.
I may be in the minority here, but I like Cathay econ better than the eva deluxe especially at the lower price. Maybe I caught an old eva plane, but the personal entertainment screen was old and crappy and no open bar. When I travel with my wife we can share the room on CX and seems enough and I just like all the Cathay amenities better. I would still take eva over the shitty NWA product though.
Keep an eye on the Cathay deals of the month and also this website for deals:

I have been trying to book mine and mrs atl's flight..looking like next march and the link on the main page when you first open the forum..I think BT-Store???
had great rates..
they were like $275 less per ticket than expedia and other websites for the same airways and dates...didnt include taxes though..so it maybe more like $150 saving but still..
has any bro's here ever booked through them?

I booked through them (bt-store.com) twice in 2006. After that their prices went up. I switched to cheapoair.com.

thanks for the tip...but I just checked same dates and airlines and the $$ was virtually the same as expedia...bt-store doesnt include tax and maybe some hidden fee's???? but was still in the low 900's..
all in all it will probably come out the same but I just prefer korean airlines and just must suck it up I guess..

atl: There is no hidden fee in bt-store. You can get the exact price, including tax, by clicking the select button. I did a random check
bt-store: March 24-Apr 1. ORD-BKK = $1094
cheaopair: $1140
As you said, bt-store is cheaper again.

Here is an update for you....I just booked two coach seats from Boston(Dec 16-Jan 15) for $3,154.00 ($1577) that's twice what I paid 2 years ago...
