... they have no ED meds on sale.
... as with all Thai crackdowns, this too may pass.
... so, I took the short trip down to the pharmacy near NEP, the one on Sukhumvit between the traffic light and the Marriott, and they happily sold me Kamagra gels for THB 80/sachet... no discount, unless you buy a box of 50, in which case I believe the price was THB 40/sachet.

A bit confused..I've been buying Penagra for years at that pharmacy next to Robinsons at the Asok skytrain station but last year the dude told me that it was all over. Assiduous reading of this thread suggests chemical help can still be found. I have never used a gel (oral I take it, not applied to the old fella) and am devoted to Penagra. I shall be in BKK in a couple of weeks and would like to stock up. Any up to date news and precise addresses to make an old man very happy? Ideally Penagra.

I always stock up at this larger pharmacy too... Name is South-East Pharmacy...
Penegra seems to have disappeared from the market at least in LOS for more than a year... Kamagra (green) is the legitimit successor...

Who makes Penegra anyway? When I Google images of it, all I see are fuzzy photos, or maybe I've had a few too many this evening. For ED stuff, I prefer stuff made by Cipla (Tadacip or Suhagra) or Ajanta (Kamagra). Mostly because I know that Cipla and Ajanta are both pharmaceutical firms that also have a presence in US hospitals and pharmacies for hundreds of other meds.

I go 3x a year and they always have Penagra at the pharmacy a few doors down from the gas station on the corner of Sukh Soi 4 (on Sukhumvit). Never had a problem with it.

Got some Elonza last recently, which did the job, but gave me two strange side effects
1. A massive headache that didn't go away with paracetamol (but was reduced) until the next day.
2. Frequent urination (6-7 times) within the next two hours.
Is there any advantage to trying Viagra or something else to resolve these issues? Any other recommendations?

What you just described is the reaction I had to Cialis...I have no problem with Viagra or its various knock-offs (Kamagra, Penagra)...so maybe you should try Cialis? The drug in Elonza is the same as in Viagra, sildenafil. Cialis is very different.
