'I have a problem with TPSCS2 Launchpad Mac for 'Total Training for Adobe Photoshop CS2'. It does not respond in any way when I click on it. I returned and replaced the software twice. Same problem with each.
I am using a MacBook Pro 3gb with all the latest updates. Mac OSX 10.4.10, 2.33 GHz Intel Core Duo, plenty of HD space.
Any info from the Mac Gurus out there?

BTW Did you realize that BTF is a forum about Thailand and its nightlife? You probably better off asking this on a IT forum...

Geez sorry Doc; it's only that I read the BTF 'Tech' forum sometimes and I must admit there is not too much about nightlife on it.
Anyway I must have the wrong idea of what 'Tech' means as it relates to this forum, sorry for annoying you. BTW I did search the IT Forums and as a last resort I thought that perhaps Daffy could provide a lead...

As I said Doc I am sorry and did not mean to bother everybody; I won’t do it again.
It’s just that in reading the many threads related on the ‘Tech’ section I did see this one among others:

( I think it was started by you or maybe your nurse who posted it while you were out of the office leading a tour) I had no clue what it had to do with nightlife but it did not bother me that you posted it.
I just thought it might be okay to ask a question. The reason I did not PM anyone is that I was hoping someone might have an answer or a lead to an answer. And perhaps some other member has an interest in this subject too.
I did read the threads Doc; but perhaps you should lay off the Diet Cokes for a while.

A lot of the Total Training discs purchased *in Thailand* (there, now it's 'on topic') are, inexplicably enough, PC/Windows only (inexplicably, because the originals are Mac/Windows created), so the result you describe seems to conform that.
If you can do a 'get info' on the disk, or any executable application on the disc, it should show as an exe file. Also, you should find a folder in there containing the movies, which you should be able to run independently.
Without seeing your actual disc, not much more I can speculate.
Where did you buy it? MBK, Panthip, or Fortune?

Are you really that dumb? That was a thread about one laptop per child in Thailand. So it was THAILAND and TECH related. I never said it has to relate to nightlife.

Thanks Daffy, I think you are probably correct about the OS. I will load them into a windows machine and see what happens. The cover on the box clearly shows the Mac OS and Windows. The Total Training website also says they will work with either platform too.
I purchased them from Fortune. Nice folks and they tried their best to help, even replacing the discs and then just asking me to choose another product. I have been using CS3 but this particular program came highly recommended and I just wanted to go through the tutorials in the hopes of learning something new.
