JR,
All you need is a keyboard with Thai and English chars on it.
Keyboards ALL send the same codes to the PC - the software you installed from the webpage I gave you, interprets them as Thai or English, according to your desire (and switching keystroke).
You're home free! Can you read/write Thai, or is this an aid to learning?

Easy to take the BTS to Ratchethewi, walk north to Petchburi Rd., turn right and walk a couple of blocks.
It used to be possible to walk through Hollywood IT Centre (aircon!) and get 3/4 of the way there, but I don't think it's open anymore...

Actually this Thai script on PC thing is more for my wife rather than me.
I'm still learning the language like a baby learning to crawl(not even walk yet). One would think that having a Thai wife would mean you will pick up the language faster.....but no she refuses to teach me anything...well I'm stuck with my books, tapes, software, etc....
Again thank for the help with the Thai script, I'll see what I can pick up from Panthip....from your directions the best way would be to take a cab...He!He!

That sounds so familiar. My ex-TGF would not teach me one word of Thai or even help me with pronounciation.
One of my close friends, who I have seen through her first husband and now a new farang husband, has never helped me with learn Thai. She also refuses to teach her new husband Thai.
The daughter and her nanny both told me they do not want me or new husband to know what they are talking about.
I firmly believe that!
Having listened to spoken Thai for years, learning to speak barely passable Mandarin and currently taking an relatively intensive Thai language course published by Linguaphone, I understand a hell of a lot more than they think I do.
It always amazes me what they say to their friends about you - with you standing right there.
While I am sure this does not apply to all Thai women; IMHO, it applies to more than you think!

Last time I was there it was almost deserted, so I figured it would reach its natural conclusion...it IS a cool way to get to Panthip, but it was positively scary last time I walked through - all dark and forboding.
Let's buy you a beer next time I'm in town - you are one of the few who actually know your way around BKK. I'm sure you could show me a thing or two...
