Just wonder how people buy iPhone 4 here.
I was just checking around few places like Jay Mart, Dtac office at the mall, and Apple store at Paragon and Central....they all said "out of stock". So is it either alot people buying them or they dont carry alot b/c it's too expensive to keep in their inventory?
It was same with Nokia N8..Nokia store and other places said "out of stock" when I asked them.
Most phone places at MBK have iPhone 4 box on display...but do they even have the phone in stock?

I was in MBK today. I checked iPhone 4 prices at 2 shops; Number One Mobile and Micro Telecom.
At the first they told me they had both Thai and Hong Kong models in stock. I asked about the HK unlocked: 25500.
At Micro Telecom they only had Thai models but told me they were unlocked. 25500 for 16 GB and 28500 for 32 GB.
Tempted but I think I will wait for the iPhone 5. I just don't see enough added value in the 4 over the 3GS I have now.

One place in MBK told me 28K somethig for unlocked 32 GB one (dont know what country model) plus they will install a ton of apps and games for you for free.

Do not fall for that - that means it's not a genuinely unlocked model, but a hacked one, and the jailbreaking they do to install pirated apps will only render your iPhone unstable and crash friendly.

that's very true. and Apple is particularly bad at it...also at releasing new products that are missing an element or feature or two they could have (SHOULD have) easily included, but they prefer to get you to buy an extra accessory instead (and I'm a Macintosh user, haha)...

Yes, you are right -- Apple's products are usually built to last much longer than most competing products, and Apple maintains them with software updates far longer -- if not for an intense desire to *want* the latest shiny, any iPhone you buy now should easily last you 2-3 years.
...of course, the driving force behind buying the new one next year is *want*, not *need*.

Perhaps it's just a log of your GPS location whenever any app requests for the location, for example the Camera app, Map app or a social app.
