Soliciting ideas and suggestions here... I have this crazy idea to document the next trip (around december) more thoroughly, and was considering the possibility of shooting a video diary, a la reality show, by having me and my buddy followed around by a video crew nearly 24/7, to give us some great materials to edit together daily, or after the trip.
One consideration is finding some kids from a local university or film school, pay them a per diem, and something like 200 Baht per day (which is still a nice 6000 baht for the month), and just have them keep the camera trained on us and our shenanigans 24/7 over the course of 3 weeks.
I figured, hiring 3 guys for 'A' and 'B' roll, and one for still shots, and working with them after hours on editing some of the footage. If doing this as part of a film school, we may even be able to make this some sort of internship that could be counted as credit for their classes.
Not really sure about any of this, I'm mostly just letting it percolate in my head, and tossing it out for suggestions and ideas from other bros...

This may be the third world but no one's that desperate.
On the positive side I think there a good chance this would end up being only slightly less interesting than arm wrestling with Chas and Dave.

Precisely - I'd just edit out the boring stuff. Heck, I'd be filming it PRECISELY for the good stuff  ("Look, that cloud is shaped like a penis>.!")

Heck, and evening at TOXIC would be an episode all by itself...

Gotta make sure to pick up an underwater housing for the cameras, then... Just accompanying a DrLove tour should be plenty of fun all by itself

For what?
Universities to add to your list? Hourly rates for your film crew? Things you can do during your 24/7 movie? Your audience?
An interesting scene in your movie, if it was aimed at an adult audience, might be a visit to 1 of DG's blow job laundries. You might consider exploring the kind of cycles they have in those places, and if they set you in a spin. Have you considered off the wall scenes like that?
I bet you were thinking mostly of day trips to temples, palaces and beaches?

Precisely....
Sadly, it seems few people can fathom a life beyond the sex scene, when there is, in fact, so much diversity and potential for entertainment all over this wonderful place.
So, picked up a couple of cheap handycams, and all I'm missing are essentially one or two operators to just keep filming.
