Back on topic, I am somewhat surprised to learn that Tulip providers do not get a share from the massage fee. As a Bangkok massage newbie, I have never been to Tulip (only tried Angels, is Kristin back yet?). Does that mean if I opted for a massage only with no extras that the provider would get nothing from the session if I did not tip? In Patong Beach massage shops, I believe that 50% of the massage fee goes to the service provider. Maybe this is because the provision of extras in Patong is probably a lot less common (apart from Soi Kepsap) than in Bangkok.
This is because an extremely high percentage of customers (almost all) at Tulip do not go there for just a massage, they go there to get laid. And anal is offered by almost all of the girls.
And I would expect that most customers know that the price for a sex session at Tulip is 1500 baht, given directly to the girl. 1 hour or 2 hour, anal or no anal, 1 shot or 2, the price the girl expects is 1500.
At Patong, most of the customers go for a massage, so if the girl got nothing of the massage fee, she might not make any wages.

Anyhow I think what ever you pay make sure it's not under 1500 baht.
